Philadelphia has lots to offer for the Halloween season- From haunted attractions, Autumnal festivities and fun for the whole family. Of course, some stuff may be too spooky for the kids, so you need to know what to do and what works best for your family. So with that being said, here are a few of the kid friendly activities for the little ones.
The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular at Sesame Place– Sesame Place has been transformed into a Halloween haven with two themed mazes, a character hayride, three Halloween shows and Sesame Street friends dressed in their Halloween attire.
Boo at the Zoo at the Philadelphia Zoo– On October 20, 21 and October 27, 28 bring the kiddies in costume and enjoy delicious treats with your favorite animals. We will also hear spooky stories and more!
PumpkinFest at Franklin Square- On October 20 from 11am- 2pm, help support Historic Philadelphia by bringing the kids to Franklin Square for PumpkinFest. Tickets start at $35, kids 2 and under are free; enjoy pumpkins, face-painting, carnival rides, balloon animals, and lot more.
Terror Behind the Walls at Eastern State Penitentiary- If your kids are older, you can take them to Terror Behind the Walls on Family Nights (Sundays before 9pm). Kids 7 and up can say “Monster, Be Good” if they get too scared.
These are just a few of the spooktacular events happening throughout the Philadelphia area. No matter what you enjoy, Philly looks absolutely beautiful this time of year.
