downtown adoption center located at 2nd and Arch is open from 12pm to 7pm Monday to Friday,
and 11am to 6pm Saturday and Sunday. Each day animals are always looking for new homes, so

The Second amazing animal adoption organization in Philadelphia is the Pennsylvania
SPCA. Founded in 1868 The PSPCA Rescues abused and neglected animals, offers medical
care, adoption and foster parenting services, volunteer services, and other animal services.
Located at 350 East Erie Avenue, there are plenty of amazing animals just waiting to find a
warm loving home. The PSPCA humane society police officers assist with enforcing animal
cruelty laws, and rescue animals in dire situations. These rescued animals are not bad pets, and
just need a second chance to have a family who will love, and take care of them. Adoption hours
are Monday-Friday 1pm to 8pm. Saturday , Sunday, and holidays hours are 10am – 5pm. Visit
