- All You Can Eat Beef and Beer at South Philly Taproom, Sunday January 29, 4-8pm: When I hear of a Philadelphia beef and beer, I typically think of dried out roast beef and a keg of Bud light in a Knights of Columbus hall. But South Philly Taproom’s event this Sunday is going to blow that concept out of the water! $50 bucks gets you gourmet beef with all the delicious sides, plus a full range of local craft beers. - “The Aporkalypse” Benefit Cabaret and Auction, Friday January 27, 7pm: Philly’s own Pig Iron Theatre Company will be hosting “The Aporkalypse” cabaret and auction this Friday at the Trocadero. - Lobster Week at Route 6, Friday January 27, January 29-February 3rd: Stephen Starr’s latest restaurant is celebrating its own Restaurant Week with a three course menu for $35. Part of North Broad’s recent revitalization, Route 6 will be serving your choice of either soup or a salad, 1.25 pound steamed lobster with potato and creamed corn and warm apple pie. - Sixers Bobblehead Giveaway nights at the Wells Fargo Center, January 27-28: What a great start to the season! Our 76ers are leading the Atlantic division with a 12-6 records (3.5 games ahead of Boston). And as if you need another reason to support this team, this weekend the Sixers are giving away not one, but two bobbleheads. This Friday, January 27 all kids 12 under receive a free Jrue Holiday bobblehead, followed by a coach Doug Collins bobblehead giveaway on Saturday.
