Philadelphia: 5th Most Walkable City in US

Story found on uwishunu.com

I’ve always felt that an apt way to describe Philadelphia is that it is a big small city. It’s big in terms of population, a unique history and culture, thriving arts scene and downtown area, but it’s small in that a great deal of the city is easily accessible to most people, especially by foot. So it came as no surprise that Walk Score has ranked Philadelphia as the 5th most walkable City in the Country, behind New York, San Francisco, Chicago and Boston. And with the adding of green space and parks, Philadelphia will only continue to be one of America’s best cities for a stroll.
