What is now underused land on the Western bank of the Schuylkill River will soon become Penn Park, an expansive urban park, better connecting University City to downtown Philadelphia. The park will feature 12 outdoor tennis courts, a softball stadium, an enclosed seasonal air structure for winter use and and an elevated walkway, offering brilliant views of the Philly skyline. The park is scheduled to open early Fall. Another exciting development project in Philadelphia. It’s always a great feeling to see something like this!
